ABOUT US
HISTORY
Southdale Nursery School was incorporated in 1975 by parents
who wanted to provide a happy, positive Kindergarten Readiness Program
for children in the area and beyond. Each year, parent volunteers serve
on the board to handle the operation of the Nursery School. After
recognizing a need in the area for an Early Years Program for three year
old children, in 2019 Southdale Nursery School introduced this program.
TEACHING STAFF
Southdale Nursery has three teachers on staff. All are
classified at Level I and Level III according to Manitoba Regulation
148/83 under the Community Child Day Care Standards Act with Level III
being the highest attainable level. Both teachers have qualified Red
Cross courses in First Aid, and have attended seminars in early
childhood development, in addition to their formal education.
